I scored an advertising coup with the debut of Kmart’s national I Found Love At A Kmart Store campaign. I developed a country & western song entitled “I Found Love At A Kmart Store” which I pitched to Kmart as part of a proposed guerilla marketing campaign. Kmart and its advertising agency, Grey Worldwide, were so excited about the song they used it as the foundation for a national TV ad campaign for Kmart. The song was recorded by multi-platinum country star Darryl Worley, whose other hits include "Have You Forgotten" and “If Something Should Happen.”
